My husband is a firefighter and master tree faller. When he is assigned to forest fires, he always tries to save as many trees as possible, when it is possible. It is a running joke that I want him saving trees, and to let the houses go if there is a choice. I personally feel that houses can be rebuilt, trees, not so much. Of course, it isn't like this on an active fire, but it is always my sentiment. I would make a poor firefighter.
